Method

In order to carry out the needs analysis a draft Knowledge Management Grid was used.

The Draft Knowledge Management Grid was filled in by trainers working in the health sector in order to evaluate their existing knowledge against the “ideal knowledge” as defined by themselves.
The outcomes of this assessment are available under the Results section.

The Draft Knowledge Management Grid was tested in order to develop a Final Knowledge Management Grid that is to be used by the trainers who are willing to upgrade their skills using the Training course available on the Hippocrates portal or other training sources.

Another result of the application of the Knowledge Management Grid was the definition of a proposal for an Ideal Knowledge Profile of trainers working in the health sector for 3 levels:

These were developed on the basis the Ideal Knowledge Profiles proposed by the trainers who tested the grid.
