Instructions

These is the step by step process that was implemented by the Trainers in order to self assess their training needs.

The Draft Version of the Sel f Assessment Grid, divided in 5 pages, was to be filled in trying to define the knowledge possessed according to the following levels:

0 = No knowledge possessed
Minimum and not good enough to be estimated

1 = Basic knowledge
Basic knowledge and limited application ability: the trainer is able to work about simple activity under somebody responsible for his results

2 = Good knowledge
The trainer is able to work autonomously also in complex situations being responsible for his own results

3 = high knowledge level/ability/experience
The trainer is able to modify the method used in the activity, the trainer can contribute to similar methodology production, the trainer is an expert of the subject and can transfer easily the knowledge to other people measuring effectiveness, assuring results to be achieved.

The trainer had to fill in two columns.

The first one was to be used by the trainers to self assess the level of knowledge possessed for each of the Cross functional knowledges and abilities listed into the Grid.

The second one, was to be used by the trainer in order to define the level of knowledge they considered necessary to be achieved.
